Mark the calendar. The annual spring field trip for TWOQC will be Tuesday, March 31. It promises to be a fun filled day with visits to both the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun and The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures. Buses will leave the Madera parking lot at 9:00 a.m. and return sometime between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m. The ladies will be divided into two groups, with half touring one museum in the morning and the other in the afternoon. There will be guided tours at the museums and free time to further explore the exhibitions or visit the gift shops. Both groups will meet for lunch together at Trattoria Pina.
Lunch will consist of Spaghetti Bolognese with a side salad and a chocolate éclair for dessert. Ice tea, soda, lemonade or coffee will be included. Wine or other alcoholic drinks may be purchased. Pina’s desserts and breads are made in-house for an extra special treat.
Tickets for the event are $40 per person and include bus fare, entrance and guided tours of both museums and lunch. Tickets will be sold Monday, February 23 at 9:00 a.m. prior to the monthly meeting of TWOQC. Those wishing to be with friends should purchase tickets at the same time to be assured of being on the same bus. As the trip is limited to 108 ladies, it is advisable to purchase tickets early. The cutoff date to purchase tickets will be Friday, March 17.
