Lions Clubs of Green Valley QC Recycle Program

The Lions Clubs of Green Valley wish to thank those in Quail Creek who have faithfully supported our recycle collections on Wednesday morning for over four years. It was our hope to develop the recycling of paper, aluminum cans and other items we collect to raise funds for our philanthropic distributions within our community. Unfortunately, over the four years we have come to Quail Creek to collect your donations, the contributions have diminished rather than grown with the community to where it is taking us 10 weekly visits to collect enough to earn $85. We have made a very hard decision to forego any further trips to Quail Creek.

We do hope that those who wish to continue supporting the Lions Clubs’ efforts will take their donations to our site by the Library in the Government Center on La Canada in Green Valley. Regular hours at this facility are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. We close most national holidays and may be forced to close occasionally due to weather or mechanical problems. If you are interested in volunteering at the facility, please call 400-3933 for more information. You do not have to be a member of the Lions Club to volunteer.
