What better way to spend a hot July day than seeing the cool cars at the Tucson Auto Museum! On July 16 several members of the Let’s Travel Club visited the museum’s new facility at 4825 N. Sabino Canyon Road. The museum boasts a diverse collection of over 80 award-winning classic cars, vintage signage, and more. Museum docent and Quail Creek resident Jerry Gardner provided us with some great stories and interesting tidbits about many of the rare and iconic vehicles on display. Afterwards, we walked to a local pizzeria, Arizona Pizza Company, for a tasty lunch. Both the Tucson Auto Museum and the pizzeria are hidden gems in the Sabino Canyon area!
