Your own Quail Creek Performing Arts Guild presented a Broadway quality play April 16, 17 and 18 with near sell out audiences raving about the play, the set, the costumes and, in particular, the fabulous acting throughout the evening. It is easy for folks to say, “The best ever,” but when so many actually said that—maybe it was true.
The cast is shown in the photograph, but many more PAG members made this show a big hit. Some crazy, fast costume changes were conducted behind the scenes by Mary Campbell-Jones and John Hockemeier with several costumes produced by Sharon Krueger and Kathy Alves. Direction by Karen Doyle and her assistant Frank Gunn kept the cast going forward for nearly three months! The various lighting changes were made, yet again, by Ken Campbell. So many other names were involved with everything from ushers to makeup to set building and much more.
Most of all, PAG would like to thank you, the ticket buyers, who can say where they were when—well, a great show was placed before them. Three standing ovations speak volumes to the effort put into this play and were much appreciated. Watch for information later in the year regarding the PAG Christmas Show and dinner.
