Lady Putters Traveled North to MountainView

Most of the Quail Creek Lady Putters wore their official club shirts for their competition with the MountainView club.

Forty-three members of the Quail Creek Lady Putters boarded a bus for the 75-minute, one-way journey to join the MountainView Lady Putters for a friendly competition on April 25. They were greeted with smiles and became reacquainted with some friends they hadn’t seen since COVID hit in 2020.

After putting, they enjoyed a luncheon at which the winning teams and individuals were recognized. Cathy Thiele was the money hole winner, and Janet Wegner and Fanny Vanselow were on the winning team. They hope that next year the MountainView Lady Putters will be able to return to Quail Creek.

Just a reminder—the Lady Putters are on their summer hours now, so putting begins at 8:30 a.m. with check-in starting at 8 a.m. All female residents are invited to give the Putters a try. Weekly greens fee is $1.
