Despite some challenges when they lost the regular putting green for several weeks, the Quail Creek Lady Putters adapted to using the chipping green. Instead of 18 holes, they had only nine so had to play each hole twice and in a much smaller space. But this did not dampen their spirits or negatively affect their scores.

The Coveted Quail (low net) award went to Lucy Nielsen who had a net score of 28.5 for the six week period ending on August 12. Sally Geers had the lowest gross score of 35.33. The Hole-in-Oneder winner was again Yoshi Hennessey who had 12 holes-in-one. Money hole winners included Joyce Walton, Yoshi Hennessey, Sally Geers and Gloria Clancy.

The Putters enjoyed a delicious salad brunch as the winners were announced.

Celebrating their first time with a score under 40 were Kim France (39); Monica Karpowicz, Lucy Nielsen and Sheila Wyllie (38); Susan Bryceland (37); and Marlene Walker with a 36.

New Low net scores for 36 and under were Linda Gorg and Neila Kozel (36); Cindy Albert (35); Carol Allen, Lois Dailey, Kelly Hines, Mary Litfin, and Cathy Thiele (34); and Diane Wilson at 33.

The Putters meet every Wednesday through late October at 8:30 a.m. at the Putting Green. Check-in time begins at 8:00 a.m. New members are welcomed at any time. For more information, please visit their website at  www.quailcreekputters.com.
