When they putted right after the Fourth of July, the Lady Putters donned the familiar red, white and blue in remembrance of the founding of our great nation. It was a very warm—would you believe hot?—morning even at 8:30 a.m. but 37 tough ladies were there to putt. There were only two putters on most teams which kept them moving.

Interested ladies are invited to try out the Putters every Wednesday morning at 8:30 between now and November. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. with putting starting promptly at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $1 each time one plays. Annual dues are $15 and are payable once someone has putted on two occasions.
