On the morning of Jan. 1, Anza team members and more than 50 Quail Creek residents kicked off the new year with a refreshing and invigorating start. The first QC Resolution Walk was a hit, offering a one-mile or three- mile loop route for residents of all ages and fitness levels. But it wasn’t just about the exercise. The event was also about connection and conversation and was a fantastic way to start the year off on a positive note, combining physical activity and a sense of camaraderie.

The walk began following some warm-up exercises by personal trainer Laura McMurtry. As participants made their way around the loops, many took the opportunity to chat with their neighbors and make new connections. It was a wonderful way to get to know one another, especially after the holidays. For many, the walk was even more enjoyable with their four-legged companions. Dogs of all shapes and sizes joined in, adding an extra layer of fun to the day.

Before the walk began, participants gathered for a drawing where two lucky winners were selected to receive a group fitness punch card. These punch cards allow the winners to attend any of our group fitness classes, offering a fantastic incentive to stay active throughout the year. We look forward to seeing even more of you at future events.
