Jalapeño Cantina Murder Mystery Dinner Show selling fast

Tickets for the latest murder mystery dinner show, Betrayal in the Jalapeño Cantina, went on sale November 16 and close to 200 had been sold in four days! This promises to be as funny as past shows. The premise is the real deal of land sold by Mexico to the U.S. in 1853 for ten million dollars.

Senorita Margarita’s Cantina is the setting for these negotiations commonly called The Gadsden Purchase, but not everyone is supportive of sale. Someone dies because of their interference and audience members are given a chance to win a prize for guessing whodunit.

Our award-winning Chef Aris has conjured up a delicious entrée to fit the scenario: Mexican Chicken Cordon Bleu, stuffed with cornbread, chorizo and Manchego cheese, breaded and drizzled with rojas sauce along with seasonal veggie, followed by dulce de leche cheesecake. Tickets are just $26 including tax, tip and show, with eight seats per table. Go to the POA website to purchase online or at the clubhouse concierge desk. Show dates are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, January 30, 31, February 1.

Six of the eight characters are your friends and neighbors here at Quail Creek, plus two great actresses from Green Valley. The zany dialogue is interspersed with musical numbers from Aretha Franklin, Linda Ronstadt, ABBA, Celine Dion, The Monkees, IZ and Ernesto Lecuona. Past murder mystery shows have sold out, so get together with friends who enjoy a comedic night out.
