Karen Bartlett, ALC Supervisor
With spring officially arriving, it is the time to take inventory of your yard, assessing the health and maintenance of the cacti, trees, and bushes. Each front yard is required to have one focal element.
• A tree with a minimum height of five (5) feet from grade
• A saguaro with a minimum of six (6) feet from grade
Do you have either one? Are you missing your focal tree or saguaro? Now is the time before summer’s heat is here to plant one. The ALC will be conducting an audit in early October for a focal tree or saguaro. A no-fee permit application is required for the planting of any tree or saguaro.
Did you know that Quail Creek has guidelines for real estate and rental signs? These are located in the QC POA Rules and follow Arizona Statute 33-1808.
• Only two (2) unembellished “For Sale” (including “For Sale by Owner”) or “For Rent” signs, industry standard size (not to exceed 18”x24” and a sign rider not to exceed 6”x24”), may be used per location to market the property.
Please ensure all signage conforms to these requirements.
Just a reminder, the ALC will be conducting a garage door audit in late March and early April. A no-fee permit application is required for painting your door. These are available on the Quail Creek HOA website or at the Administration office. Reminder notices will also be published in What’s Happening.
We thank you for maintaining these standards which help preserve the aesthetics, property values, and overall quality of our community.
