Hello from the ALC Department

Karen Bartlett, ALC Supervisor

“Do I need a permit for … ?”

That’s the most common question we receive here at the ALC, and more often than not, the answer is yes.

Whether you’re installing a mini-split in your garage or casita to beat the summer heat or adding a vertical flagpole, a permit is required. Before making any exterior improvements to your home, we kindly ask that you:

Contact us: Give us a call or send us an email with your project details.

Review the ALC Guidelines: Visit the ALC Requirements & Permits page at QuailCreekHOA.org (use the same member login you normally use), www.quailcreekhoa.org/web/quail-creek-hoa/alc-requirements-permits (the same site you log into with your member number).

Taking these simple steps helps ensure your project goes smoothly and complies with community standards.

Green cans, brown cans, and trash cans are everywhere! An outline of the new waste collection services with the Town of Sahuarita can be found at sahuaritaaz.gov/1253/Waste-Collection-Services.

Per ACL Guidelines, 3.35 Walls, trash cans are to be hidden from street and neighboring view. Are yours? Now is the time to make sure you are or will be in compliance.

H. TRASH RECEPTACLE SCREENING WALLS are walls located within the homeowner’s property line to hide trash receptacles from street and neighboring views. All trash receptacle screening walls shall be constructed using Santa Rosa color slump block, or concrete block stuccoed and painted to match the house. Trash receptacle screening walls shall be no higher than fifty-two (52”) inches in height above grade as measured from street side of wall.

We are always happy to answer your questions or concerns. The ALC office is located by the dog park in the Administration building at 904 N. Quail View Loop. Stop in any time Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., call us at 520-393-5803, or email qcalc@robson.com.
