Hello from the ALC Department

Karen Bartlett, ALC Supervisor

With the wonderful monsoon rains we have received, comes weeds and mosquitoes. Those pesky weeds pop up overnight. Spray or pull your weeds often. If you are away for the summer, please have your landscaper or house sitter check for weeds on a regular basis. We truly don’t enjoy sending weed notices any more than you enjoy receiving them.

The ALC Committee is happy to welcome our three new committee volunteers; Marianne Weinzinger, Don Linn, and Doug Detman. The ALC Committee meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at the Madera Clubhouse. Permits are due to the ALC the Friday prior to the ALC meeting.

3.8 Curb Ramps have been added to the ALC Guidelines. An audit of curb ramp installation will take place in early Sept. to identify any unapproved installation. Please submit an ALC permit application for your installation. If you have any questions about curb ramps or the permit process, please contact our office. Permit applications can be found on the QuailCreekHOA.org website under ALC.

This is a friendly reminder to properly store your trash containers. As stated in the CC&R 4.2.10…containers shall be maintained and stored so as to not be Visible from Neighboring Property. If containers are stored behind a return wall with a gate, please make sure they cannot be seen over the wall or through the gate. Per ALC Guidelines 3.15 Gates, 3. “Solid screening material shall be used.” A gate audit will be taking place sometime in the Fall.
