The Green Valley Military Officers Association celebrated Christmas a little early this year by taking up a collection for the local Toys for Tots program at its November meeting. Members bought toys and games for children of all ages and gift cards for teens who are included in the national program. In the end, about 25 toys, gift cards totaling $125 and $220 in monetary donations were turned over to the Green Valley Chapter of the Marine Corps League.
The members’ thoughtful gifts will help make some needy children very happy on Christmas.
