Ginny Hutcheson
Do you have things in your house or garage that you would sell, but it is a bummer to host your own garage sale? Well, the Quail Creek Fights Back Relay for Life team would love to help you out. The team needs your good, small items for resale at their garage sale on Nov. 9 to fund cancer research and patient programs for the American Cancer Society. Thanks to the generous item donations of Quail Creek residents in the past, the Quail Creek team has raised over $44,000 for cancer patients by reselling donated items since their first garage sale in 2010.
The team is not able to handle larger items such as furniture, but would love to have donations such as bikes, garden tools, small kitchen appliances, bedding, camping items, and more. Items need to be clean and saleable. Please price your donations from 25 cents on up prior to delivery of the items for the sale at 2494 E. Bluejay Bluff Lane on Monday, Nov. 4, through Friday, Nov. 8.
Contact Ginny at [email protected] to volunteer to help and to make donations.
Please consider being a volunteer anytime from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. to get free coffee, snacks, and lunch. Best of all, you get first chance at some great bargains and to have a really fun day selling and visiting with your Quail Creek neighbors. This is one of the biggest sales in Quail Creek. You don’t want to miss it!
