Sandy Van Mieghem
It is with great sadness that we bid goodbye and good luck to our club and board member Sandy Van Mieghem. She has been interested in every aspect of jewelry making, systematically working through projects in order to learn new techniques, which she generously shares with other members.
From her first lapidary class, in which she worked a piece of agate until it was perfect, she has shown patience and attention to detail. Sandy is serious about craftsmanship, able to translate her ideas into beautiful pieces of unique and enviable jewelry.
We will miss her calm and soothing presence in our studio and wish her all the best in her future adventures.
