Tuesday evening, January 29, the second annual QCVGA Wine and Cheese Event was held at the Madera Clubhouse. Over 80 members, guests and spouses attended the party. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful food (and good wine!) prepared by the Madera staff. Live music was provided by Cyndy Gierada on the piano and Michael Vance on the drums. Tom Haberer, Tom Contreras and Rene Gill provided some insight into the history and current activities regarding the QCVGA but mainly it was an evening to get together with members and spouses, share some stories and make some new friends. The success of the evening assures that similar events will be repeated throughout the coming year.
