Girls Just Want To Have Fun is the name of this annual event put on by the three Quail Creek Ladies Golf Associations, the putters, niners and 18 hole club.

Ninety-nine ladies participated in this 18 hole golf event. Each team was made up of an 18 hole lady golfer, a niner and a putter. There were winners in each of the four flights as well as a contest for closest to the hole, longest putt and closest to the line. The day began a little chilly with a fifteen minute delay but warmed up quickly and was topped off with a baked potato luncheon by Eppi and her excellent crew at the Madera Clubhouse. Nancy Hoppe took on this event for the fourth year in a row and thanked her committee, the presidents of each of the clubs, a special shout out to Shirley Gray for all her hard work and our Pro Joel Jaress for scoring and announcing in the grand finale.
