Did you know that the Quail Creek Fine Arts Painting Club sells artwork at a reasonable price from their gallery windows in the CATC building? Why drive to Tubac or Tucson when the Fine Arts Painting Club offers gallery-worthy artwork for sale here in Quail Creek. The artists who display their artwork in the Fine Arts gallery windows are accomplished artists. Many have painted and taken art classes for many years. Some have studied from well-known teaching artists or registered for multiple classes being taught by our highly qualified teachers at the Fine Arts Painting Club.
Shopping from the Fine Arts gallery windows is available on Monday afternoons from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon; and Friday afternoons from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Ask the monitor in the Art Room to help you with the sale of the painting of your choice. Payment is by check or cash. Contact the artist directly to see if credit card payments are available.
The Fine Arts Painting Club has more than 150 members who have an opportunity to take classes from accomplished teachers. We offer all kinds of art classes, from watercolor, oil, acrylic, drawing, colored pencil, charcoal, scratchboard, mixed media, and Zentangle. To find out more about classes, go to the QCFAPC.com website, click on Activities and Activities List. Pan down to a specific class of interest and click on that listing to find the class name, teacher, date and time of class, class description and level of expertise, plus the cost of the class. To register for a class and get the supply list, email the teacher showing on the specific class listing.
