The QC Computer Club’s monthly presentation on March 21 is all about passwords! Mike Dittle, a QC resident and Computer Club instructor, presents many aspects of passwords and password protection.
Are you writing your important passwords on a piece of paper you keep under the keyboard, in a wallet, or just locking them in your head? Do you ever wonder if there is a better, more secure encrypted way to store all those passwords needed to use the Internet through a computer, smartphone, or tablet?
Well, if you answered yes to either of these questions, then this presentation is for you. In this presentation, we will look at why strong passwords are important. We will discuss what defines a strong password and how to safely track passwords and make them secure at the same time.
