Monthly Meeting on May 17
The Democratic Club of Quail Creek (DCQC) held its monthly gathering on May 17 in the Kino Center. The speaker, Herb Paine of Paine Consulting Services, reviewed the status of Project 2025. The presentation was comprehensive in providing statistics and the effects of implementation of the plan to date.
There are 18 organizations that are actively engaged in supporting the project. The focus of Project 2025 is a response to changes in the culture of the United States. These concerns have resulted in four “promises” that the movement has made to address them.
The verbiage in both the concerns and the resulting promises are neutral in approach. The implementation appears to have taken a different approach. The resulting evaluation by Mr. Paine may be considered controversial by some who did not attend the gathering. The recording of the presentation and the slides that were used are available on the DCQC website at www.dcqc.page. All readers are encouraged to review the PowerPoint presentation.
Women In Blue, June 1
The May and June Women In Blue lunches were replaced by a breakfast held in the Madera ballroom on June 1. The event was open to both men and women and included members and non-members of DCQC. We had over 100 people attending. Christine Pelosi, a Democratic strategist, addressed the gathering, and her comments were warmly received.
The next Women In Blue luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, July 24. Go to the DCQC website at www.dcqc.page for details and instructions to reserve a place at the event.
