The Food & Beverage Committee and the Quail Creek Food & Beverage Team are hosting the Culinary Passion Scholarship Competition. This fundraiser will be held on Thursday, September 29 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Madera Ballroom. Funds raised will benefit Senior students enrolled in the Sahuarita High School Culinary Program to assist them in further education as they work toward careers in the Hospitality Industry.
The competition will have five teams of students each preparing both a savory bite and a mini-cupcake. The $20 Culinary Passport admission ticket includes 10 punches – five for food stations, one for a crepe/ice cream station, three for wine tastings and one bonus to be used for any station. There will also be a silent auction with a variety of gift certificates and merchandise to be bid on. Winning bids will be announced prior to the end of the event. Only cash or checks can be accepted for payment.
Tickets will be available through Quail Creek Ticketing online and at the Concierge Desk through September 19 unless the maximum of 300 tickets is sold earlier. Tickets will not be available at the door. Watch What’s Happening for further information. You don’t want to miss this fun evening benefiting a good cause! We’re hoping to make small differences in young people’s lives.
The committee will gladly accept donations of merchandise and gift certificates for the silent auction. Sponsorships at any level are also welcome and will be acknowledged in the program as well as displayed on a poster the night of the event.
