On October 5, the Quail Creek Cool Car Club launched its sixth year of monthly drives to local scenic attractions.
Each year we inaugurate the season with a drive to the top of Mt. Lemmon. This year was a little different. The political stalemate in Washington forced the closure of all the rest stops on the highway leading to the summit. Thus, our elapsed time getting there was a little quicker, not so much to get to the restaurant, but rather to get to the facilities in the restaurant.
As always, we had an enjoyable time.
