Cookbook sales underway

Entertaining and looking for easy or different recipes? Perhaps you’re looking for a slow cooker meal that can be made ahead of time. Look no further than TWOQC cookbook, A Shared Table. House guests will be sure to love Baked Blueberry and Peach Oatmeal at breakfast. If you’re having a crowd, Fancy Egg Scramble with Cheese Sauce will serve ten and the recipe can easily be doubled. Tasty Chicken Provencal is a great comfort food that will dazzle your taste buds. It’s easy to prepare in the slow cooker, has a delicious sauce and is perfect to serve over mashed potatoes. Those are just a few of the hundreds of tried and true recipes collected from the residents of Quail Creek to be found in the cookbook. All proceeds from sales go to support Genesis House Shelter, a local charity that provides shelter and advocacy for victims of domestic violence.

Cookbooks are $15 each or buy ten, get one free. Checks should be made out to TWOQC Charity Account. Cookbooks will be on sale in the Madera Clubhouse lobby on Wednesday, October 15 from 10:00 a.m. to noon and Monday, October 27 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. continually check What’s Happening for additional sale dates.
