And the winner is…
Sherry Morris, an avid golfer and member of Fabrics Plus, a division of the Quail Creek Quilt Covey, is the 2017 winner of the FitNice Challenge, a nationwide sewing competition! Contestants were challenged to design a garment using the FitNice pattern system. Sherrie designed and sewed a knit top of her own creation. Her garment will be “on tour” nationwide with FitNice founder Judy Kessinger for the next year. Sherrie won over $400 in prizes including a collapsible tote, couture sewing supplies (Thread from Austin’s Sewing Center, Kai rotary cutter), a cordless iron, a one year subscription with a $25 gift certificate to Vogue’s Swatch Club and a 2018 Fit Club Membership. Fabrics Plus and the entire Quilt Covey are so proud of her creativity, beautiful work and success.
