On December 10 the Quail Creek Computer Club held its annual Open House at the Computer Lab. Visitors were introduced to some of the new equipment and software acquired throughout 2013 including iMacs, Windows 8 touchscreen, color laser printer and router. Three Open House door prizes, a Paperwhite Kindle Reader featuring a display that can be read in full sun, a wireless Bluetooth speaker and a set of over the ear headphones were won by club members whose names were unavailable at press time.
The new Arts & Technology Building has been approved by Robson and construction started in late October and completion is expected to be in early 2015. The building will include a new computer lab. A floor plan drawing of the building and lab was available at the Open House. If you need to rent computers for business purposes or for an event, you could visit this site.
