The Library at Madera Clubhouse regularly operates with no POA budgeted funds. The POA did provide the much appreciated new open face return cabinet. All items on the shelves are donated by users. Fortunately, the donations received are sufficient to keep the shelves basically full. In 2014 approximately 4100 new items were received and 1900 retained (mainly based on copyright dates with the most recent being kept). Items not shelved are re-donated to the VA Hospital, the Animal League of Green Valley, the Green Valley Library (magazines) or the White Elephant. Keep the donations coming in to the donation wicker basket near the door of the library.
