You don’t have to like beer to like Oktoberfest. You just need to like a good time! Tickets are going fast for the Oktoberfest celebration scheduled for Sunday, October 29 in the Madera Clubhouse Ballroom. If you like good food, great dance music and a good time, this is the event for you.
The festivities will begin at 4:00 p.m. with pretzels and beer available for purchase. Beginning at 4:45 p.m. a German food buffet will be available and will include beef brats, broasted chicken, sauerkraut, German potato salad, green salad with choice of dressing and a BIG cookie. Food will be followed by dance music presented by The Bouncing Czechs! The evening will also include a few special raffle baskets and a 50/50 raffle. Regina Ford will serve as MC for the evening.
Tickets are $30 per person and include the dinner buffet and dancing. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Women of Quail Creek Scholarship Fund. To date, the scholarship fund, which was begun in 2016, has helped seven local women further their education.
Oktoberfest is open to the public. Bring your friend. Bring your neighbor. Bring your loved ones, or even people you are just getting to know. Come join the fun!
