The date of The Women of Quail Creek’s fourth annual baby shower for expectant mothers of military families has been set. It will be held on the afternoon of April 18. Though it is still a little way off, hand knitted or crocheted baby items such as hats, sweaters and baby blankets are always needed and delight the mothers-to-be. Quilters may wish to start working on quilts to donate for the wee ones. Baby clothes, diapers and other newborn essentials will also be needed for the shower. Donations can be dropped off at TWOQC general meetings.
