The Quail Creek Veterans Golf Association has donated $500 to support the baby shower for military families sponsored by The Women of Quail Creek. These funds, along with other cash donations, will be used as committee member shoppers purchase items not yet donated but needed to fill out the baskets for each baby.

With less than six weeks to go until the June 25 shower, TWOQC continues to encourage the always generous support of Quail Creek and the Greater Green Valley/Sahuarita Community. Some of the registered military families have already given birth and more are on their way so a range of clothing and baby necessities continue to be needed. Expected girls are outpacing the boys almost three to one so we are anticipating a lot of pink in the baby baskets that will be made up for each family.

Donations of clothing, particularly in sizes newborn to 12 months for girls, are still needed. Other items such as diapers, baby wash and baby wipes are always welcome. To make a donation contact Pam Rodgers at 520-561-7969 or email her at [email protected]. Contributions may be dropped off at Pam’s house at 2640 E. Sawyer Road or she is happy to pick up donations within the Green Valley area. Collection boxes are also in the clubhouse lobby and at the Anza Fitness Center.
