On April 5 Green Valley American Legion Madera Post 131 held its annual Ladies Tea. Madera Post 131 wanted to recognize and thank their women members, along with other women who are active in Green Valley philanthropic endeavors. Caring Hearts & Hands of Quail Creek members were invited to attend. Several members, dressed in their finery, including hats, enjoyed an afternoon of tea and delectables. Male members of Madera Post 131 dressed as waiters and served the ladies. All the tips the male servers received were donated to the Caring Hearts & Hands upcoming Military Baby Shower to be held for the 162nd Wing of the Morris Air National Guard Base in Tucson on National Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 17.
