The Quail Creek Computer Club’s (QCCC) Judi Jarosh receives the Merlin Anderson Award for outstanding service to our club and community from Club President Harold Baker. Judy serves as our club treasurer/statistician and lab monitor. We’re all lucky to have such a valuable volunteer in our community!

QCCC saw our membership numbers explode this year. Our membership stood at 783 members at the end of 2024. At the end of this calendar year, we fully anticipate our numbers to exceed 1,000. One of the reasons for this phenomenal growth is the dedicated lab monitors providing IT support for all your devices during Open Labs. Open Labs are on Mondays from 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon, and Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. If you can bring it in, we’ll have a look and almost always resolve the issue. It is no wonder the listing of QCCC was recently reclassified from Hobbies to Services in our POA listing of clubs. QCCC has provided 1,944 lab volunteer hours and assisted members 1,106 times from January through the end of October. By the end of the year, QCCC will have provided the equivalent service hours of a full-time employee to our members!

Jan. 10, 2026, is our Open House date at the Creative Arts and Technology Center (CATC) in Quail Creek. Open House hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. During the Open House, Quail Creek residents can explore what all we have to offer by speaking to our dedicated volunteers and board members. Members can also enter the raffle for a chance at $1,200 worth of prizes. Not a member? You can join by stopping in at Open Labs located in the CATC, coming to the Open House, or by visiting our website at www.quailcreekcomputerclub.org. We look forward to meeting you!
