From Green Valley Mysteries comes a ninth show written by Davey Jones and starring cast members that have recently brought you Very Desperate Housewives of Sahuarita and Victoria’s Secret Bar and Grill. What could possibly happen when the entire cast dies under suspicious circumstances at the end of act one? Well, they go somewhere that might come as a surprise to the audience. But how to get out of this place presents a challenge to their lack of trust in each other. It comes with a strange yet appropriate title: Afterlife, After Death, After Dinner.

Woven into the story are musical numbers made famous by Joni Mitchell, Patsy Cline, Neil Diamond, The Pointer Sisters, Styx, Judy Garland and Israel Kamakawiwo’ole (IZ). Also there is no worry about what to do for dinner. It is back to the original idea of murder mystery dinner theater. The Madera Clubhouse cash bar opens at 5:00 p.m. and a dinner of chicken picata with white wine sauce, roasted red potatoes and green beans will be served at 6:00 p.m. As soon as the entrée dishes are cleared, act one will commence. Once the cast has been murdered, dessert (fruit pie a-la-mode) will be served. Iced tea and coffee are included.

Act two follows (in that strange place). Then a short intermission will give audience members a chance to complete a solution form. A surprising reveal will come as act three discloses all you need to know about the mystery and who wins the prize for a correct solution form. Cast members include Quail Creek residents Pam Campbell, Sandi Hrovatin, Cyndy Gierada, Jeff Webster and Davey Jones, together with Green Valley favorites Claudia Andrews, Marie Valade and Karen Cuthbert. Mary Campbell-Jones will be managing the house operations and lighting.

The show dates are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 19, 20 and 21, 2015. Tickets will go on sale at the clubhouse concierge desk on Monday, December 8. Tables of eight seats maximum will be available at $25 per seat. This includes dinner, show, tax and tip. For several years these shows have sold out for all three nights, so get your friends and neighbors together and enjoy a full evening of fun entertainment.
