There are still some openings in late March and April to get your taxes done for free at the La Posada Rec Center. Tax preparation, sponsored by the AARP Tax-Aide program, is on an appointment-only basis. Appointments can be made at appt.link/gv-laposada-taxaide. Clients without computer access may call 520-222-7652. Leave a message if there is no answer.
The only state for which counselors receive training is Arizona. Tax returns for other states cannot be prepared. Once an appointment has been made, clients may pick up the necessary tax preparation paperwork at Valley Assistance Services, 3950 S. Camino Heroe, the Green Valley Food Bank during their normal business hours, or at the La Posada Rec Center on Wednesdays and Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
