Quail Creek Celebrates America’s 250th Birthday
This year, I was delighted to celebrate America’s 250th birthday by joining the festive Quail Creek Fourth of July Golf Cart Parade. Neighbors came out in great spirits, and the carts were decorated with colorful, creative designs. My husband and I proudly rode in the Buell/Desmond cart, which featured the Quail Creek Democratic Club banner.

The Women in Blue Luncheon was held on June 25. Honored guest speaker Dan Shearer, editor of the Green Valley News and Sahuarita Sun, spoke with the group about local news reporting.
Women in Blue Breakfast
The Women in Blue Breakfast was held July 23 at the Arizona Family Restaurant. Honored guest speaker was Senator Rosanna Gabaldon, who discussed the results of the 2026 legislative session.
