The Quail Creek Performing Arts Guild (PAG) recently gifted $2,500 each to Hey! Productions and the Green Valley Concert Band (GVCB) as part of their support for music and performing arts in our area.
Hey! Productions is a non-profit performing arts company focusing on wholesome, family-friendly musical theater shows for youths ages 8 to 24. Founded in Sahuarita in 2018, its mission is to provide opportunities for any youth to participate in musical theater, www.heyproductions.org.
The Green Valley Concert Band’s vision is to be the Southwest’s best known and most respected all-volunteer concert band. Their goal is to be a band that works within the community to foster the enjoyment of music and aid the development and growth of music education, www.greenvalleyconcertband.org.
The Performing Arts Guild annually presents a Christmas show, a spring play, a choral concert, and the “Quail Creek’s Got Talent” show. PAG is also the sponsor of the annual Business Expo. Look for more information about the PAG shows in upcoming Crossing articles and What’s Happening announcements.
