Genealogy Club Looks at Our Pasts While Looking Forward

Janine Baxter

On Jan. 7 the Quail Creek Genealogy Club (QCGC) met for the first time this year in the Kino Conference Center with a roundtable format. We were focused on organizing our research, methods to use to keep records, and being able to spend more time discovering ancestors and less time looking for lost files.

On a regular basis, the club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m. in the Ocotillo Room. At our February meeting, we discussed the use of AI in our genealogy records and research. Our next club meeting is on Wednesday, March 4. Info regarding this session can be found on our website.

We welcome all levels of genealogy enthusiasts, and there are several members who have the desire and ability to help you start your own research or find your own “missing” ancestor.

Of note, guests are invited to attend two meetings before becoming members. Dues are $15 per year for single membership and $25 per year for dual membership.
