Games are now shelved in the Sage Room of the Canyon Club.
Alphie Smith
The games in the Quail Creek Library have moved. They are no longer shelved in the library at the Madera clubhouse.
Pictionary, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, cards, and more have found a new home in the new Canyon Club. Residents can find them in the Sage Room. This is the big room with tables at the end of the hallway.
You can now play a game in the Sage Room! Go through the door that says “Sage One” and turn right. There is a bank of cabinets along the wall. The fourth door down holds the games. Open the doors and you will find signs on the inside to instruct you about the usage.
There is a demand for games during the holiday season when family and friends visit.
Please feel free to play your game in the Sage Room or borrow one and take it home to play. If you borrow one, please return it to the Canyon Club cabinet or to the donation box outside the library at the Madera clubhouse.
Only return games to the Canyon Club cabinet in the Sage Room—no books or jigsaw puzzles, please. These belong in the QC Library at the Madera clubhouse.
The cabinet that the games vacated in the QC Library is now being used for seasonal jigsaw puzzles (under the shelf of large-print books).
The QC Library team appreciates the donations and patronage of all QC residents.
