The annual Battle of the Sexes Golf Tournament saw the men winning once again, which was a disappointment for the ladies who putt week after week, but the event had one big winner. After the club drew the winners for the Split the Pot raffle, they gave the raffle proceeds, along with a $250 donation from the club, to United Community Health Center (UCHC), a local 501(c)(3). The Center provides primary care, behavioral health, and dental care to primarily low-income families from the Greater Green Valley area and more rural areas in Pima County.

Winners of the Share the Pot raffle were Sylvia Butler and Shelly Comfort. Each received $115.

For the first time, the Battle of the Sexes tournament was played on the golf course rather than the putting green. Despite the loss (it was men 1284, ladies 1596), the weather made it a great day for a battle. The team with the lowest score included Patty and Jim Hall and Robin and Dale Gillian. The second-place team members were Janet Wegner and Greg Lengsfeld and Shari and Frank Cerrone, while the Hardest Working Team included Linda and Ken Cottrill and Patty and Tom Yattow.

The couple with the lowest score of 76 was Jonel Dlugos and Skip Byron, while Patty Hall had the lowest score (37) for the women. Janet Wegner and Roni Carrick tied for the second lowest score of 39 for the women. The man with the lowest score was Frank Cerrone (35), and Dale Gillian had the second lowest score with a 36. Sherri Norine had three holes-in-one (the most for the ladies), and Dale Gillian and Steve Perry tied with four holes-in-one.
