‘Beginning with the End in Mind’

Are you one of the savvy folks who began the new year with a resolution to plan, organize, and prepare documents in the event of a loved one’s passing?

Partners Losing Partners Outreach (PLPO) held a seminar last November addressing some of these issues. The information presented was a good starting place; however, many details inevitably fall to family, companion caregivers, and others to ensure all affairs are in order. This process can be overwhelming, but having a plan to prepare in advance can reduce the inevitable stress that comes when someone does pass.

To aid in this process, PLPO is offering a workshop entitled “Beginning with the End in Mind,” defining “the end” as leaving the workshop with the foundation for a working plan. Attendees will receive guidance and identify action steps that ensure important and necessary documents are up to date and accessible to those who will need them.

The free workshop will be held on Thursday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Mesquite-Ocotillo meeting rooms at the Kino Center. Registration information will be available in the daily What’s Happening, as space will be limited.

Note that PLPO’s information resource outreach extends to all Quail Creek spouses, partners, and companion caregivers. Details about PLPO and how to request outreach can be found at www.quailcreekhoa.org/group/quail-creek-hoa/partners-losing-partners-outreach.
