January Recap
January was a busy month for the Quail Creek Computer Club! Here are some highlights from our events:
• Open House: We welcomed 56 new members and renewed memberships for 39 existing members at our annual Open House on Jan. 20. We also issued 71 raffle tickets for $1,000 in total prizes and answered many questions from attendees.
• General Membership Meeting: At our general membership meeting on Jan. 21, our treasurer Judi Jarosh presented the club’s budget for this year. Membership Chair Mike Dittl shared our growing membership numbers. To conclude the evening, board member Rick Kunin gave a presentation titled “The Cloud: What Is It and What’s in It for Me?” Members can download Rick’s presentation from the club website after logging in by clicking “Education” then “Past Presentations.”
