The Quail Creek Performing Arts Guild (PAG) is pleased to announce that auditions for its Christmas dinner/theatre production will be held on Oct. 2 and 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Madera Clubhouse Ballroom. No preparation is required. People who audition for the show will read various parts and sing an easy song. Anyone interested in the trio (see below) will not be required to read for a part.
The Christmas show, called “The Grass Is Always Greener,” was written by Gregg Carr and Bill Entwistle and will be held in the ballroom on Dec. 8, 9, and 10. It is a Christmas musical featuring 12 parts: six men and six women. In addition, there will be a three-part vocal trio who will sing backup vocals to many Christmas songs in the show.
Auditions are open to any Quail Creek resident. However, all cast members will be required to become a member of the Performing Arts Guild. For further information, please contact the director, Bill Entwistle, at 815-257-2279 or email [email protected].
