The Women of Quail Creek (TWOQC) and the VA Hospital extend their appreciation to the Quail Creek residents who so generously supported the canned goods drive to help the homeless veterans served by the hospital. The VA was especially glad to get so many flip-top cans of soups, chili, and meats. In addition to nonperishable foods, residents donated paper and cleaning products. Money was also donated.
It took four vehicles to haul the donations to the VA where the staff was waiting to do all the unloading and carrying of the donations into the building.
