TWOQC will celebrate ten years as a club and honor its membership with a Champagne Brunch on October 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Crystal Ballroom. Hush-hush planning has been going on all year to ensure that the event will be the highlight of the year. There will be champagne, an elegant brunch featuring chicken salad stuffed tomatoes and carrot cake and entertainment by renowned Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus in addition to many surprises for attendees. The Boys Chorus, dubbed America’s Singing Ambassadors under the direction of Dr. Julian Ackerley, has attained international fame with their performances worldwide and on television. They captivated and delighted TWOQC when they performed at a holiday luncheon a few years ago.
In keeping with the idea of a Champagne Brunch, members are encouraged to add to the fun by dressing in High Tea attire and bring out their hats and gloves.
Unlike past membership brunches, no memberships will be taken that morning and the event is open to members only; no guests. Current members and those joining when purchasing tickets are invited. Anyone joining in September or October will have membership through December 2015.
The cost is $10 per person. Those wishing to sit at tables of 10 with friends should purchase tickets together. Tickets will go on sale prior to the TWOQC meeting on September 29. For additional information or to purchase tickets contact Ann Nease at [email protected] or 404-9993. No tickets will be sold before September 29.
