2024 Annual Employee Appreciation Event

Dear Quail Creek Residents,

The holidays are just around the corner. Quail Creek is home to 213 hardworking employees who strive daily to make our community a wonderful place to live. Every year, we invite residents to contribute to an Employee Appreciation Fund, offering a chance to express special thanks to these employees. Believe me, receiving a token of gratitude from the residents means a lot to each of them.

We have residents ask, “Why should I contribute when I already tip well at the restaurant?” Our thoughtful response is that’s generous of you; however, there are many employees who aren’t tipped, such as:

• Cooks and dishwashers who prepare and clean up after your meals;

• Patrol employees who work around the clock to keep the community safe;

• Golf maintenance staff who start as early as 5 a.m. to prepare the course;

• Pro Shop personnel who handle over 80,000 rounds of golf annually, manage the shop, and marshal the course;

• Anza employees who organize classes, maintain facilities, and care for the pool area;

• Member Services staff who assist guests, sell tickets, answer questions, and perform many other services;

• The webmaster who ensures your daily newsletter is up to date and manages the website;

• Activities, Banquet and Events staff who coordinate banquets, concerts, and trips and arrange meeting spaces;

• Maintenance personnel who keep our equipment running smoothly; and

• Administrative staff working behind the scenes to ensure everything operates efficiently.

Although our dues cover employee wages, this gesture serves as a special thank you. These employees are not highly compensated and face the same higher costs at the gas station, grocery store, and other daily expenses that affect us all.

Your contribution, no matter the amount, is completely confidential. We do not track individual donations. Only you will know how much you choose to give. With more than 6,000 residents, donations range from $10 to over $1,000, and every amount is greatly appreciated!

If you wish to contribute, you can drop off your contribution (cash or check) in one of the marked boxes located at Member Services in the Madera clubhouse, the Pro Shop, the Grill hostess stand, and at Anza.

Please make checks out to Quail Creek CC POA. Abbreviations or variations of the name in the check “To” line are not accepted by the bank. Write “QCEAE” or “Employee Appreciation” in the memo line. Checks may be mailed to Quail Creek Country Club, 904 N. Quail View Loop, Green Valley, AZ 85614.

Any contributions received after Nov. 30 will be applied to next year’s fund.

Thank you for your consideration. We wish you all a very happy holiday season.

Warm regards,

Resident POA Board Members Ralph, Jeff, and Connie
