There are still some tickets at $30 left for the Valley Assistance Services’ (VAS) fashion show on August 20 in the Madera Clubhouse Crystal Ballroom. Doors will open at 11:00 a.m. with lunch being served at noon. You will be treated to a very berry salad and grilled chicken on salad greens with seasonal berries, followed by a cooling rainbow sherbet.
Tickets can be purchased at Nancy Pantz that is providing the outfits for the show. The majority of the models are Quail Creek residents, several of whom will be making their modeling debut! Attendees will also receive a 20% discount on purchases from Nancy Pantz in the weeks following the luncheon. Tickets can also be purchased at Valley Assistance Services, 3950 S. Camino del Heroe in the Springs Development, or by contacting Quail Creek resident Peggy McGee at 520-207-6188 or firstname.lastname@example.org. They will also be on sale in front of The Grill on Sunday, July 28 from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Cash or checks payable to Valley Assistance Services only.
For those with a creative streak, VAS will need help assembling the raffle baskets the second week in August. If you can help with that, please contact Peggy McGee at the email address listed above.
The event will support the many programs and services that VAS provides for its clients, seniors and low-income families in the greater Green Valley Area, as well as support groups for victims of dementia and their caregivers regardless of income.
