Monday, October 26 the annual Membership Appreciation Brunch for The Women of Quail Creek will take place in the Madera Clubhouse Ballroom. The festivities will start at 11:00 a.m. All members of the club and their guests are invited. Quail Creek women who have not previously attended a TWOQC function, that are interested in joining the club, are also invited. The event is free for TWOQC members; however, reservations are a must and ladies will need a brunch ticket to attend. Tickets cost $15.50 for guests. Tickets may be obtained Thursday, October 15 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Madera Lobby. October 19 will be the cutoff for reservations.

Entertainment will be provided by Amber Norgaard and Sabra Faulk, a crowd pleasing local singing duo. Amber is a singer/songwriter with an impressive vocal range and a musical repertoire that crosses many genres. From pop to honky-tonk and ballads, she sings it all. She also plays piano and guitar. A tireless performer, she tours nationally and has been the opening act for many musicians including Judy Collins and Kenny Loggins. Sabra is a bass and vocal prodigy. A staple in the southern Arizona music scene for over 20 years, she is currently the lead bass player for the famed Gaslight Theater.

TWOQC memberships for 2016 will be sold at the brunch. Annual dues for club membership are $25. Membership benefits include regular monthly programs on topics of interest to women. At each program a number of door prizes are given out. In addition to the membership brunch, the club also has two luncheons each year plus a field trip in March. All events are free to club members with the exception of the luncheons and the field trip. Those renewing memberships or joining that day will have dues paid through December 2016.

TWOQC offers many opportunities for women to get involved in service projects such as the annual baby shower held for mothers-to-be in the Armed Forces. The club is a wonderful way to meet other women in the community.

Those wishing to attend but unable to get their ticket on the October 15 date may contact Nancy Wilson at 207-6830. For more information on the club, visit the website at womenqc.com.
