TWOQC December Holiday Luncheon to feature Arizona String Quartet

Janice Pell

It will be a Candy Cane Christmas for The Women of Quail Creek at their annual holiday luncheon. The festivities will start at 11.30 a.m. on Monday, December 14 in the ballroom. Attendees can expect to have a merry ole time with a delectable lunch, music to delight the senses and general merriment. Attendees may wish to dress in holiday attire as pictures will be taken. Tickets for this always-popular event are $18 per person.

Lunch will feature a traditional holiday menu: Turkey with walnut/cranberry dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, coffee and ice tea followed by red velvet cupcakes. Strawberry daiquiri cocktails will be offered at the no host bar.

Following the luncheon, Arizona String Quartet will set the mood for the holidays with an inspiring concert. The talented University of Arizona ensemble group is made up of masters and doctoral students selected from a national search. They will perform a variety of musical selections that celebrate the season.

Tickets for the February 12 benefit luncheon and fashion show, Ignite your Passion – Fight all Cancers, will be sold prior to the luncheon from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Madera Lobby. TWOQC thermal totes will also be sold that time.

Holiday luncheon tickets go on sale at Monday, November 16 at 5:30 p.m. before the TWOQC meeting. The event is open to all TWOQC members and guests. Those wishing to sit with friends at tables of ten should purchase tickets together.

Additional sale dates are Monday, November 23 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday, December 2 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Madera Lobby. Those unable to attend sale dates may contact Nancy Wilson at [email protected], 207-6830, for tickets.
