On November 10 the Green Valley MOAA Military Assistance Charity delivered 30 turkeys and 30 Commissary gift cards to the Tucson Air National Guard. These turkeys and gift cards will be distributed to the needy and deserving families of the ANG.

162nd Force Support Squadron Commander Major Paul Jefferson, Director of the ANG Airmen and Family Readiness Unit Barb Gavre and Chaplains Assistant Master Sergeant Trevor Harvey were there to receive this donation. They were all very thankful and grateful for the turkeys and gift card donations and said they would go to needy families who might otherwise not be able to afford a Thanksgiving meal.

This annual event is just one of the many things the Green Valley MOAA Military Assistance Charity supports and we would like to thank the individuals and organizations of Quail Creek for your continued and generous support of our organization and its charity. Your donations help to allow our small chapter to contribute to the local military, their families and the community in a very big way.
