The Women of Quail Creek (TWOQC) send out a big thank you to community members and, particularly, the Quail Creek Stampers and Scrappers. The Stampers and Scrappers made many cards for Pima Love Notes, and are creating cards for fall, winter, and the holidays. Many community members sent cheerful messages.
The Pima Love Note Project is supported by the Pima County Health Department. It began in June with the intent of bringing cheer and support to individuals in long-term care and assisted-living facilities, who were in lock-down until recently.
TWOQC’s sponsorship ended with the last delivery on Sept. 25. Pat Neel, the coordinator, has delivered over 620 cards to the various Green Valley care centers. Besides that, many more cards were mailed. What a successful endeavor!
Thank you for extending much goodwill to an important group of people in Green Valley and Sahuarita.
