Using the Our Daily Bread devotionals we read and discuss the message from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Madera Clubhouse, Silver Room No. 1 on Tuesdays. In August our topics are August 5, Breaking Free, Romans 8: 1-11; August 12, Example that Encourages 2 Timothy 2:1-7; August 19, Following the Master, Numbers 9:15-23; August 26 Spiritual Navigation, Psalm 119:97-106.

In September we will be using Andy Stanley’s DVD study Christian—It’s not what you think. We continue to meet on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in Silver Room No. 1. According to Andy Stanley, the words used to describe Christians today often bear no resemblance to what Jesus wanted His followers to be known for. In this eight part study participants will learn: What one word should be descriptive of every Christian; how Jesus’ followers should treat those who are outside the faith; why people love Jesus but can’t stand His followers.

All Quail Creek women are invited to attend. Study guides may be ordered for $10.

Andy Stanley is the founder of North Point Ministries, Inc. Each Sunday more than 33,000 people attend NPM’s five Atlanta area churches and over one million of Andy’s messages are accessed monthly from the North Point websites.
